Infacet Jewellers is a business in the retail industry offering personalized custom fine jewellery, gemstones and diamonds.
- Delivery policy ( South Africa)
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 5 -21 days and delivery confirmed by way of email. Delivery of diamonds and diamond jewellery to Cape Town, George, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Durban, East London and Bloemfontein will have delivery in 24 – 48 hours, weekends excluded. Smaller towns in South Africa will have delivery within 48 – 72 hours. Please make sure you have identity documents or drivers licence to present to the courier company on receipt of parcel.
Shipping is done with RAM Safe Hands couriers ( parcels valued R5000 and more) or Dawnwing. Parcels will be delivered to a day-time address, fully insured door to door. Shipping/delivery will be R220 ( free of charge for goods purchased to the value of R9000 and more ). Infacet Jewellers will not be held liable for any loss or damage on goods/parcels outside of the shipping/delivery process.
In the unlikely event of lost, stolen or damaged goods the cost of such will be covered by the courier company and subject to their terms & conditions or our insurance company.
- Delivery policy ( outside South Africa)
Delivery outside South African can be arranged however Infacet Jewellers will not be liable for custom clearance, custom duties and country of origin taxes of your parcel. Contact email@example.com to arrange safe and secure delivery.
- Collections or Personal Delivery
Infacet Jewellers offer personal deliveries to your day time office address, Monday to Thursday within a radius of 60km from Cape Town CBD ( Durbanville, Paarl, Somerset West, Claremont, Melkbosstrand etc).With this delivery you have the option to pay with a credit card via our mobile credit card machine. Alternatively feel free to pop in at our studio to collect your jewellery personally. Brigitte or Janine will contact you when your jewellery is ready and will liaise collection or courier/ personal delivery at your convenience.
- Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Infacet Jewellers is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Infacet Jewellers will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 20 % administration fee.
- Warranty on Manufacturing
We stand behind our jewellery and warrant that all items will be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the products. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise or, if we deem appropriate, replace the item. If the item is no longer available, Infacet Jewellers may, at its discretion, replace with like-kind or allow a refund equal to the selling price of the original item or component.
If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then we will notify you and let you know if repair services are available at cost or otherwise.
Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in coloured gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect.
Precious metals such as gold and platinum are natural products that will wear and tear over a period of time. We strongly advise that jewellery are “serviced” on a regular basis to make sure that all claws, stones and settings are secure, especially rings that are set with single and multiple gemstones. The onus is on the client to get jewellery checked by reputable jewellers.
Infacet Jewellers shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:
- Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Infacet Jewellers bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
- Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Infacet Pty Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
- Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Infacet Pty Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
- Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Infacet Jewellers takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
- Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Infacet Jewellers chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Infacet Jewellers may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
